Marcus Raboy
With a recent Emmy win for Conan O’Brien: Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, and over 5 billion streams of his music videos, 2 past Emmy and 2 DGA nominations, Marcus Raboy has created some of the most iconic images in pop culture over the past 30 years.
Born and raised in New York City, Marcus began his directing career in music videos working with legends like Mary J Blige, Shakira, Rihanna, Elton John, Carlos Santana and Ice Cube. His close working relationship with Cube led to directing the feature film and fan favorite Friday After Next, written by and starring Ice Cube.
He’s also directed and produced comedy specials for Amy Schumer, Marlon Wayans, Judd Apatow, Patton Oswalt, Deon Cole, Whitney Cummings and numerous others for Netflix, HBO, and Amazon. He received his 2 Emmy nominations, and a DGA nomination for directing Steve Martin and Martin Short’s “An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest of Your Life.” In 2022 Raboy received a Director’s Guild nomination for his work on “The Mark Twain Prize for American Humor honoring Jon Stewart.”
